Baypath Humane Society’s 17th Annual Paws & Claws 5K is less than three weeks away! On Sunday, October 4, runners, walkers, families, friends and four-legged companions will come together at Hopkinton State Park for one of Baypath’s largest and most impactful community events of the year.
Presented by VCA Animal Hospitals, the annual Paws & Claws 5K brings the community together for a morning of fun while raising critical funds to support Baypath’s mission and the more than 1,000 cats and dogs the organization cares for each year.
This year, Baypath is bringing a fresh fall feel to the event with its Autumn Tails theme. Participants are encouraged to embrace cozy plaids, animal prints, pet-inspired graphics, dog ears, cat tails and favorite fall colors — and to up the cuteness factor by coordinating with their canine companions!
Baypath’s expanded Vendor Village marketplace also returns this October, featuring a mix of pet-, family- and runner-focused vendors for participants to explore before and after the race.
Proceeds from Paws & Claws support Baypath Humane Society’s mission to provide shelter, care, humane treatment and loving homes for stray and unwanted companion animals. Funds raised help make possible the organization’s adoption services, medical and behavioral care, enrichment programs and community education.
