On Tuesday, April 7th Hiller Boys & Girls Track & Field both improved to 2 and 0 on the season with big wins over Holliston!
-Hiller Girls Outdoor Track & Field defeats Holliston 91 to 45
(Contributed Update) – Hopkinton’s girls track & field team beat Holliston, 91-45 at home on Tuesday. For the Hillers, junior Sophie Rasul won the javelin and 400m and anchored the winning 4×400 (with junior Phoebe Klein–also second in 400m, sophomore Keemia Ravoz and junior Lila Heling–also third in 800m). Junior Callie Owens won both the 100m and the 200m. Junior Evie Woodbury won the high jump and long jump. Sophomore Clara Bransfield won the 400 hurdles, placed second in long jump, and led off the winning 4x100m relay. Juniors Isabel Walker (also won triple jump and took second in 400 hurdles), Kylie Rogers (also second in 100m hurdles and triple jump), and Bella Walkiewicz (1st in 100m hurdles) also ran legs on the Hilers winning 4×100. Senior Kaelyn Faber took second in both shot put and discus.For Holliston, freshman Lucy Downin won both the mile and 800m and junior Reis Pirelli won the shot put and discus. Hopkinton faces Norwood next Tuesday at home, while Holliston hosts Westwood on Tuesday.
