Hopkinton Wine Recovery
press update 8/3/09,4:00 pm

On Sunday we received a call from Boston PD to inform us they recovered the stolen $20,000 bottle of wine. The recovery was due to a member of the public (who wants to remain anonymous) who recognized a suspect from the video. This member of the public contacted an intermediary who contacted the suspect. The suspect produced the wine through the intermediary.

Det. Scott van Raalten met Boston PD Detectives at their station, retrieved the wine and obtained what information Boston PD possessed. We are following several leads. This is an active investigation. No further information is available at this time. We will provide updates as they become available.
