Girls Track & Field: Hopkinton defeats Dedham 92 to 44 (Contributed Info)

Hopkinton girls track & field team best Dedham, 92-44, in Dedham on Thursday. Junior Sophie Rasul (400M and javelin) and senior Kaelyn Faber (shot put and discus) each won two events to lead the Hillers to the win. Junior Kylie Rogers won the triple jump and took second in the 100m hurdles. Junior Bella Walkiewicz won the 400m hurdles and took second in the 200m and third in high jump. Sophomore Emily Miller and junior Evie Woodbury tied for first in high jump. Senior Chloe Tumbleton won the 800m while junior Lila Heling led a sweep of the mile with Jillian Toran and Wafiya Syeda, also juniors. Three legs of the winning 4x100m each placed in another event–Clara Bransfield (1st LJ), Addie Morrissey, Kaelyn Geremia (3rd 299m), Callie Owens, 2nd 100m). Sophomore Jane Hopkins placed second in triple jump and third in long jump. Junior Sophia Zanella placed second in both discus and javelin. Junior Isabel Walker placed third in the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles. Dedham junior Amariah Montaque won the 100 hurdles, the 200m, and took second in long jump. Hopkinton competes in the MSTCA D2 relays this weeked, then faces Westwood at home on Tuesday.

Girls Track & Field: Hopkinton improved to 4 and 0 on the season capturing a 93-44 win over Dedham.

Boys Track & Field: Hopkinton improved to 4 and 0 on the season capturing a 77-58 win over Dedham.

The regular season meets conclude for both teams on Tuesday May 5th with a meet at Hopkinton High School vs Westwood. The Hopkinton vs Westwood meet could very well determine this years recipient of the TVL Large title! Be sure to catch the meet airing live on HCAM at 5pm Tuesday May 5th!
