Hopkinton Boys & Girls Track & Field defeats Westwood, clinches TVL Large Season Title!

Girls: Hopkinton defeats Westwood 98 to 38 and improves to 5 and 0 on the season!
(Contributed): Hopkinton girls outdoor track & field extends its dual meet winning streak to 26 years! Hopkinton’s girls outdoor track & field team extended its dual meet winning streak to 26 years in its final dual meet of the season, a 98-38 win over Westwood. The Hillers honored their seniors in their last home meet. Senior Chloe Tumbleton won both the mile and the 800m in her final dual meet of 12 straight high school seasons of cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. Senior Kaelyn Faber won the shot put in a season best and took third in discus. Junior Callie Owens won the 100m and 200m. Sophomore Clara Bransfield won the long jump and took second in the 400m in a personal best. Junior Bella Walkiewicz placed second in both the 400 hurdles and 100m hurdles and tied for third in high jump. Junior Kylie Rogers won the 100m hurdles and long jump. Sophomore Jane Hopkins won the triple jump, placed second in high jump, and placed third in the 100m hurdles. Juniors Sophie Rasul (javelin) and Wafiya Syeda (2 mile) and sophomore Emily Miller (high jump) also picked up wins for the Hillers.

1st Place finishes for the Hiller Boys included: 100 Meters: Harry Millar (11.21), 200 Meters: John Knutson (23.10), Jacob Logan finished 2nd at (23.15), 1 Mile: Sean Finnegan (4:32.64), 2 Mile: Jack Desrochers (13:23.13), 110M Hurdles: Anvay Salvi (16.62), 400M Hurdles: Matthew Logan (1:01.52), 4X100 Relay: Joshua Fonseca, Jacob Logan, Patrice Petit Frere & Harry Millar (44.18), 4X400 Relay: Gavin Paparazzo, Colby Hughes, Daniel Morrissey & Patrick Meehan (3:57.73), High Jump: Mason Barros (5-08.00 – 1.73m), Triple Jump: Mason Barros (42-04.50 – 12.92m).
