Hiller Baseball Wins 6th in a Row, defeats Xaverian Bros 7-6

-Baseball: Hopkinton hangs on to defeats Xaverian Brothers 7 to 6 (4/17/2026)

This past Friday, Hiller Baseball hung on to grab a 7-6 road win over Xaverian Brothers & collect their 6th straight win. Hopkinton improves to 6 and 2 on the season, Xaverian Brothers falls to 4 and 3.

During the game, the Hillers plated 2 runs in each the 2nd & 3rd innings and 1 run in each the 4th & 5th inning to take 6-2 lead heading into the 6th inning. Xaverian Brothers made it 6-3 in the bottom of the 6th but the Hillers responded with a run in the top of the 7th to take a 7-3 lead heading to the bottom of the 7th. The lone run in the top of the 7th would prove to be a difference as Xaverian Brothers rallied versus pitcher Matt Pedroli for 3 runs and made it a 7-6 game with 1 out. Landon Fitzgibbon came in to relieve and Xaverian Brothers would end up hitting into an eventual double play to end the game a run short.

For the Hillers, Matt Pedroli went 1 for 4 at the plate with a run & RBI, Noah Krammes went 0 for 4 with an RBI, Michael Sullivan went 1 for 3 with a run, Trevor Hodne went 2 for 3 with 2 runs and a walk, Travis Rych went 0 for 3 with a walk and run scored, Calvin Mahon went 1 for 2 with 2 walks and 2 RBI’s, Ryan Lang went 2 for 3, Andrew Beauchemin scored 2 runs and had a SAC RBI, Gabe Cafazzo went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI’s. The Hillers used 8 different pitchers in the game to hold Xaverian Brothers to 6 runs on 10 hits. Hillers plated 7 runs on 8 hits.

Hopkinton next hosts North Attleboro on Wednesday, April 22nd at 12pm during the April vacation. The game will be live on HCAM!
