Video: Select Board Fills Planning Board Spot, Approves Greyhound Friends Kennel License

At this past Tuesdays meeting, the Select Board had a joint meeting with the Planning Board to fill a vacant Planning Board spot. they chose Jane Moran to fill the spot until the 2020 Town Election. The Board also approved the Greyhound Friends Kennel License with conditions.

Video: Weston Nurseries Hosts 3rd Annual Blooms, Brews and BBQ Event for Jimmy Fund Walk

This past weekend, Weston Nurseries hosted their 3rd annual Blooms, Brews and BBQ event to benefit the Jimmy Fund Walk. Last year, Weston Nurseries raised over $29,000 for the walk and by the looks of the crowd this year, they certainly raised a lot more.

Video: Hopkinton Hillers Field Hockey Update

Hillers Field Hockey took on Dedham on September 6th. The game was a good defensive battle and ended in a 0-0 tie.

On September 9th, the Hillers Field Hockey team hosted Hopedale. Vani Sharma and Sarah Doyle each netted a goal and Megan White netted a pair of goals in the 4-0 win.The Hillers would fall in their next game on Wednesday September 11th 4-0 vs Westwood.

Hillers Field Hockey stands at 2 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie on the season. View highlights below.

Sometimes you come across one those dogs who is a true gem under a rough coat, and with some diligence, consistency, and a caring foster home, the shining dog underneath starts to come through. That is certainly the case with Chester!

This young dog spent the first year of his life with no home, getting bounced from place to place. He arrived here from Louisiana shaking and fearful. It was painful to see this dog we desperately wanted to help so terribly anxious.

The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) will conduct aerial spraying in specific areas of Middlesex, Norfolk, and Worcester Counties beginning on the evening of Tuesday, September 10 and continuing for several evenings. Spraying is weather-dependent and schedules may change.
