Enter Stage Left Theater’s (ESL) summer youth theater workshop presents Annie Jr. in two performances Friday, July 24 at 2 and 7 p.m. Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie was the winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical and is now adapted for young performers in Annie Jr. Music by Charles Strouse. Lyrics by Martin Charnin. Book by Thomas Meehan. Based on Little Orphan Annie. Directed by Mary Scarlata-Rowe. The 60-minute production will take place at Hopkinton High School (90 Hayden Rowe St.) and features local actors in grades one through eight.
