The Select Board unanimously approved 3 appointed employees by Town Manager, Norman Khumalo. New employees include, Renee Chen as Deputy Assessor, Susan Sadhegi as Administrative Assistant, Finance and Laurie St. John as Administrative Assistant, Finance.

The annual Hopkinton Senior Center Bocce challenge returned this year. Hopkinton Police, Fire along with seniors participated in a bocce tournament. In the first match, Hopkinton Police defeated Hopkinton Fire, in the 2nd match the Senior Center Keep Movin team defeated the Seniors and then Police took home the championship trophy in the final match. View highlights of the fun-filled Wednesday afternoon below and be sure to catch the premiere of the Bocce Challenge Program, Thursday (September 23rd) at 7pm on HCAM-TV and our Youtube Page!

Charles F. DeWaele, 92,

Charles F. DeWaele, 92, died February 8, 2020.. He was the husband of Carol A (Buthray) DeWaele, to whom he was married for 66 years. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Callanan) DeWaele.

He was a graduate of North High School, Worcester and Gettysburg College. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran and worked for over 40 years for Travelers Insurance.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Matt of Hopkinton and Mark and wife Heidi (Canaan) of CT.
