This training will help participants to develop: leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old or anyone who works with children on a daily basis (i.e. camp counselors).

This program was developed by Holly Burns and Cate Barry for their Girl Scout Silver Award. The idea for this class was motivated by their desire to increase responsiveness to medical emergencies. They are supported by the KeepSmilin4Abbie Foundation who will be speaking about epipen use during the training. $10.00 of each registration will be donated to the KeepSmilin4Abbie Foundation. Holly & Cate would like to thank Hopkinton Parks & Recreation Department, the Hopkinton Cultural Arts Center, trainer Michelle Levenson, Hopkinton Middle School, the Benford Family & the KeepSmilin4Abbie Foundation for providing assistance and support toward the success of this program.
