bCalm Power Yoga of Hopkinton participated in the 3rd Annual Yoga Reaches Out New England Yogathon on Sunday, April 28th at Gillette Stadium's Field House. The event, which brought together 1000 yogis from across New England, raised over $500,000 for Boston Children's Hospital, Children's Tumor Foundation and to develop a yoga program in Newtown, CT.
bCalm was well represented at the event, with a team of over 35 participants from Hopkinton, Ashland, Milford, Franklin, Westboro, Southboro, Holliston, Bolton, Hopedale, Bellingham, Northboro and Upton along with 8 local teachers providing assists to the many yogis as they practiced throughout the day.
Lesley Reilly, owner of bCalm Power Yoga said "We look forward to taking part in this annual event that helps various children's charities and are so grateful to our community for their participation and support. We are very happy to have exceeded our team's goal for fundraising and to have helped the Yoga Reaches Out foundation exceed theirs as well."
