Host families are needed for three wonderful young men who will be attending Hopkinton High School this Fall!

We are able to offer a host family a stipend of $900/month/student to help offset any expenses associated with hosting. Please consider opening up your home to one or two students…it will be the best thing you’ve ever done! Two boys from Italy and one from China will be arriving the next few weeks to start an amazing time of study for them…and give you the opportunity to have a family member bring a new culture and understanding to your home. Host families provide “technically” room and board for the student, but practically…welcome a new family member and make them their own. Our students arrive speaking English, with their own spending money, insurance…and in need of only you! We provide local support and a long history of changing lives.

The Council on International Educational Exchange, based in Portland, ME, has been a long standing and well respected non-profit in the field of educational exchange for nearly 70 years. We would love to welcome you to our community of warm and welcoming host families! The school year is approaching quickly…please contact Janine Roche, 978-399-4740 or ljrock99@yahoo.com. More information also at http://www.ciee.org/highschool/host-families/ You will be changing lives…including your own!

Guglielmo is a 16 year old boy from ITALY. “I am a guy full of interests. My mother always says that I do not seem to be able to be bored because I always find something to do, even if I'm on my own. My biggest interest is Physics. I love studying and expanding on this amazing subject that explains how the Universe works. My dream is to enter in one of the most important Universities known for their excellent Physics programs, such as MIT, because I would like to become a theoretical physicist. I love children and I love spending time laughing and joking with my friends! I've been playing in a basketball team for many years, but I also love skiing and playing tennis. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, listening to my favorite songs and reading. It would be amazing for me to cook some Italian dishes for my host family!” Program Length: 10 months Allergies: None HOPKINTON HIGH SCHOOL

Davide is a 17 year old boy from ITALY. “I am kind, nice and very open to make new friends. I mostly enjoy playing soccer and I currently play in a local strong soccer team, so while on my program, I would like to join a soccer team. Besides soccer, I am interested in sports in general (both playing and attending or watching sport events on the TV). I also love listening to music and attending concerts, going shopping and attending any kind of event and party. I like going to museums and exhibitions in order to know more about art, history and culture. As I am a sociable person, I would also like to be involved in activities for my host community. I love pets and having a brother.” Program Length: 5 months Allergies: None HOPKINTON HIGH SCHOOL
