Bocce challenge is back! Thursday Sept. 17th at 3pm with a rain date of Friday the 18th at the Hopkinton Senior Center! This year the Hopkinton Fire Department will take on the Hopkinton Police Department.
In last years challenge the Hopkinton Police showed no mercy to the Hopkinton Senior Center team as they swept them in 3 matches. The Senior Center team had a great comeback but the Police took the 1st match 11-9. The next 2 matches the Hopkinton Police department went on a rally taking down the Senior Center team 11-0 in game 2 and game 3. Chief Lee scored several points in the victory. This year the Hopkinton Fire Department is eyeing revenge for the Senior Center team.
The event will start at 3. The court was refurbished thanks to project manager John Palmer and a team of works and various donations of materials. The Bocce Challenge will begin at 4. Burgers, dogs and refreshments are provided courtesy of the Friends of the Hopkinton Senior Citizens, INC.
