The Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) current children’s exhibit, inspired by the Boston Marathon, will host a reception on Saturday, April 28 from 1 to 2 p.m. Heart, Courage, Sweat features 27 artworks by local students, ages 6 to 13. At the reception students will have the opportunity to meet two members of the HCA Boston Marathon running team. Girish Cherkady and Joy Donohue, who together raised more than $15,000 for the HCA. Cherkady and Donohue, both of Hopkinton, MA, will be on hand to talk about their marathon experience and to display their medals and other memorabilia. They will then bestow medals to each participant of the exhibit. This event is free and open to the public and will take place in the Lotvin Family Gallery at the HCA, 98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibit will remain on display through May 3. For more information, visit www.HopArtsCenter.org.
