It has been a privilege to serve as a member of the School Committee for the past three years. I am asking
for your continued support as I seek a second term.

As a member of the School Committee, I have worked collaboratively with my colleagues in the school district
and town government to provide an excellent education to students at all levels, at a reasonable and
responsible cost to the town. We have pursued creative initiatives that have generated thousands of dollars
in revenue, reduced energy costs, and identified other efficiencies. We have made progress toward our
Strategic Plan goals and are recognized locally and nationally as an innovative district at the leading edge of
education. I am enormously proud of the value that the school district continues to provide to the town in
terms of public education, and I deeply appreciate the tremendous support the town gives to the schools.
The economy continues to challenge our ability to meet our Strategic Plan goals while maintaining the
excellent classroom experience we provide to our students. After the failed vote regarding the Elementary
School Project, my colleagues and I have worked diligently to better understand the priorities and goals of
the voters for a solution to the operational and educational constraints of Center School. I would like the
opportunity to continue to work toward a supportable, non-districted solution to these and other facility
challenges.

As a community, we should be proud of our school district. I have the experience and dedication necessary
to keep the school district on track to provide a high quality education to our students and a demonstrable
value to taxpayers. I would be honored to have the opportunity to do so and would appreciate your vote.
