Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist is Welcomed in Milford

Philip Ciaramicoli, Jr., president of Tri-County Medical Associates, Inc. (Tri-County Medical) is pleased to welcome John B. Levine, M.D., Ph.D.to Tri-County Medical’s staff. Dr. Levine will direct the newly opened practice, Pediatric and Adolescent Behavioral Health, which is located in the Hill Health Building at Milford Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Levine earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, MA. He served as a resident in general psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and as a fellow in child and adolescent psychiatry at Cambridge Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Levine also obtained a PhD in psychology at the University of Miami prior to medical school and subsequently completed two research fellowships in neuroscience at Harvard Medical School

Dr. Levine is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and is an Associate Researcher in Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in both General and Child Psychiatry. Dr. Levine’s research focuses on translational developmental neuroscience. He has published more than 30 articles and chapters on brain function and behavior. Dr. Levine practices general child psychiatry and specializes in treating children with autism spectrum disorders.
