According to reports Colella's Supermarket at 61 Main Street in Hopkinton has been sold for $3.3 Million Dollars to Crosspoint Associates, Inc. out of Waltham. The company purchased the nearly two-acre property and 22,000 square foot building as Hopkinton CP LLC. The Liquor store area of Colella's currently remains open. No specifics have been released on if the liquor license was included in the sale. The Liquor store will remain open until the sale is finalized.
The buyers, Cross Point Associates own many plazas throughout New England which are host to Shaws Supermarket, Hannaford and Whole Foods. No known determination has been made on what will open in the Colella's lot but it is expected that another supermarket will be open in the space.
