Hopkinton, Massachusetts, September 4, 2026 – All Hopkinton residents and business owners are invited to a public meeting to learn about and discuss an upcoming Hopkinton Cultural District. The meeting will be held on Monday, September 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the upper loft at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe Street.
Cultural districts establish place-based identities and foster collaborative initiatives which reflect the unique cultural, artistic, and economic lives of local communities. The proposed primary goals of the Hopkinton Cultural District are to:
● Foster and preserve local cultural development
● Encourage businesses and job development
● Establish the district as a tourist destination
Organizers are currently applying for official status and grant funding through the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
