-Hiller Girls Basketball defeats Dedham 63 to 28 (Dec 17th)
Hiller Girls Basketball looked like they were in midseason form when they hosted Dedham on Tuesday in their home opener. Hopkinton outscored Dedham in the first 3 quarters 17 to 6 in 1st, 23 to 6 in 2nd, 13 to 6 in 3rd and kept the offense going in a 10 to 10 4th quarter. Hopkinton had 11 different point scorers and the defense had several turnovers & dominated the boards to make it very difficult for Dedham to get anything momentum offensively. It was a great start to the season for the Hillers and if this is a sign of what to expect each game, it should be a very fun season of Hiller Girls Basketball. Teagan Resteghini led the way offensively with 17 points, Sofiah Wightman Kraus contributed 9 points and Abbie Rabinovich netted 8 points in the Hiller win.
Hiller Point Totals: Teagan Resteghini – 17 points, Sofiah Wightman Kraus – 9 points, Abbie Rabinovich – 8 points, Murphy Chatten-Guerette – 6 points, Julia Chatten – 5 points, Kate Riesenberger – 3 points, Gabby Simulis – 3 points, Elena Valis – 3 points, Sydney Canales – 3 points, Chloe Bearfield – 3 points, Ada Monopoli – 3 points.
