Proven, positive leadership is what I will provide as our next Selectman. As a representative of the citizens of Hopkinton in town, at the regional and state levels, I will always conduct myself in a reasonable, responsible and respectful manner. Positive leaders rise above the trivial and work to accomplish the collective goals of the community without denouncing or defaming others that may hold opposing views.

Homerun Record Broken

Hopkinton High School’s Varsity Baseball program has a new record holder. Sophomore Ryan Sullivan bashed his 9th home run in yesterday’s 6-2 victory over Dover Sherborn.

Sullivan takes over the school record which was previously held by current head coach Mark Stickney and former Hiller star Mark Ostrander.

Stickney hit 8 in 1975 as the Hillers ended up with a 5-11 season record. Ostrander tied the record in the 2004 season. That team was 24-4 and went on to win the state championship that year.

In 2011 Ryan Sullivan, tied the record on Wednesday and broke it yesterday.
