$165,000 for upgrades at School Buildings

Article 24: Facilities Improvements District Wide - Passed Unanimously

Article 25: Community Preservation Funds - Passed

Article 26: Community Preservation Recommendations - Items A through E - Passed, Item F - Failed
Motion to separate Item F: $150,000 for Dog Park at Hayden Rowe - Passed

Article 31: Hotel Overlay District Land Area - Standing Vote: Fails 2/3rd requirement 118-74
-Planning Board voted 8 to 1 in favor

-Several Residents Speak Against Article

Article 32: Maximum Building Height - Industrial A District - Passed
Maximum Height Remains at 60 Feet, except building or structure within 400 feet of the right of way
of the portion of Hayward Street located to the West of South street shall not exceed 40 feet.

Article 33: Maximum Building Height - Industrial B District - Passed
-Building or structure in Industrial B District shall not exceed 45 feet.

Article 34: Maximum Building Height - Hotel Overlay District Near Parkwood Drive - Standing Vote: Fails 122-182
-Changes Building Height in Overlay District located North of West St. and East of Parkwood Drive from 45 feet to 60 feet.
-Ken Weismantel points out typo in Article - "Should be West of Parkwood Drive, not East of Parkwood Drive."
-Planning Board Amends Article to State "West of Parkwood Drive" - Passed

Article 35: Amendments to Conversion Bylaw - Standing Vote: Failed 2/3rd Majority 191-127
-Remove Illegal By-Law
-Applies to existing single family converting to 2 families.
-One of the units must be owner occupied.
-Planning Board Voted 4-3 for Article
-Amendment by Claire Wright: Add: "in a manner consistent with the character of the neighborhood." - Passed

Article 36: Accessory Family Dwelling Unit - Standing Vote: Fails 2/3rd Majority 103-199
-Accessory Family Dwelling Unit - Can be rented to family member of someone 60 years or older.
-Amended to take out terminology in line I. - Amendment Fails
-Amendment by Michel Umina to allow caregivers to live with family member. - Fails

Article 37: Marijuana Establishments - Standing Vote: Passes 281-51
-Planning Board Voted 4-4 leading to No Recommendation
-Prohibit all Marijuana Establishments as defined in law: Marijuana Cultivators, Marijuana Testing Facilities,
Marijuana Product Manufactures, Marijuana Retailers and any other type of Marijuana-related businesses.
-State Marijuana laws are not affected, Article only prohibits recreational establishments.
-Amendment to not include Research and Testing Facilities in ban - Amendment Passed
-Amendment would allow medical research and testing facilities, not recreational.
-Dozens of residents speak about Article, most are for the Article.
