To the Editor:

I am writing to encourage fellow Hopkinton voters to join me in supporting
Amy Ritterbusch as candidate for the Hopkinton Select Board.

I met Amy soon after my family moved to Hopkinton in 2007. Since then, I have been greatly
impressed with Amy’s dedication to the Hopkinton community through her service in numerous
volunteer roles. I have known Amy as a patient leader of my daughter’s girl scout troop; and a
founding board member of eHop, a non-profit organization that provides information to
residents about important town matters with the goal of increasing government transparency.

Amy has also served on noteworthy boards and committees that help run our town, including as
a member and Chairperson of the Hopkinton Center Historic District Commission, the Chair of
the Growth Study Committee, and a member of the Hopkinton Planning Board. In these
positions, Amy has worked to successfully collaborate with a wide variety of individuals, groups
and organizations, while becoming well-versed on the issues facing our community. Throughout
the years, I have observed Amy to be hard-working, organized, thoughtful and respectful of
others. During these challenging times, Amy’s experience, and the qualities that she brings as a
leader, will greatly benefit our town. I hope you will join me in electing Amy Ritterbusch to the
Hopkinton Select Board.

As social distancing will protect our election volunteers as well as all voters, please stay safe and
cast your absentee ballot before Monday, June 29 (for instructions, please visit:
 https://www.hopkintonma.gov).

Very truly yours,
Laura Barry
