Question: What's two hours long, filled with spine-tinglingly beautiful music, and populated with giants, witches and the occasional mermaid?

If you said, "high school parents night," we're going to give you partial credit.

But no, the correct answer is Big Fish, an extraordinary musical presented by the Enter Stage Left Theater and featuring a cast of performers from Hopkinton and surrounding towns.

Big Fish centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest... and then some! Edward's incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him - most of all, his devoted wife Sandra.

But their son, Will, is determined to find the truth behind his father's epic tales. When Edward's health declines, and Will learns that he and his wife, Josephine, will have a son of their own, Will decides to find out his father's "true" life story, once and for all.

Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace, and with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, Big Fish is an early spring treat and not to be missed.
