Francis M. “Frank” O’Toole, 79

Mr. Francis M. “Frank” O’Toole, 79, of Milford MA, died early Monday morning (January 25, 2016) at Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (LaPorte) O’Toole.

Mr. O’Toole was born in South Boston, MA the son of the late Bartley and the late Helen (Lee) O’Toole. He was a graduate of Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston MA and also a graduate of Suffolk University.

Mr. O’Toole had served as manager of the Division of Employment Security for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 25 years. He also owned & operated the former O’Toole’s Pub for 20 years. He was a longtime member of IAPES and also a member of the Norwegian Club.

Mr. O’Toole was a Korean Conflict veteran having served in the US Marine Corps. He had been a resident of Milford MA for the past 48 years.

Along with his beloved wife of 55 years, he is survived by 4 Sons: Michael O’Toole and his wife Anne Marie of Grafton MA, Steven O’Toole and his wife Cindy of Northbridge MA, Daniel O’Toole and his wife Allison of Milford MA and Thomas O’Toole of Milford MA; 9 Grandchildren: Sean O’Toole, Casey O’Toole, Sam O’Toole, Abby O’Toole, Ryan O’Toole, Emily O’Toole, Benjamin O’Toole, Liam O’Toole and Riley O’Toole; 1 Brother: John O’Toole of Whitman MA; 3 Sisters: Kathleen O’Toole of Falmouth MA, Mary Glynn of Quincy MA and Eileen Heger of Dorchester MA; also many nieces & nephews.

Mr. O’Toole was the father of the late Patricia E. “Tricia” O’Toole who died in 2008 and the brother of the late George O’Toole.

His funeral, with Military Honors, will be held Thursday (January 28th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Wednesday (January 27th) from 4pm to 7pm.
