Hopkinton's Girl Scout Junior Troop 72975 met yesterday, 11/7/12 at the Hopkins Cafeteria with Community Leader, CherylAnn Lambert Walsh of Project Just Because (PJB), as part of their aMuse Journey.
Ms. Walsh spoke to the girls about her work with Project Just Because and raised their awareness of needs and opportunities to help in their community.

The 18 girl scouts brought Thanksgiving dinner themed donations to the meeting where they prepared 18 Thanksgiving Baskets.
The baskets were delivered this morning to PJB and they were delighted.
Thank you to the 18 fantastic families of Troop 72975 and CherylAnn Lambert Walsh!

When asked, what item is needed most of all right now, Ms. Walsh replied, "Blankets, Blankets of any size."
Hopkinton Girl Scouts will have a blanket donation bin at the December 1st, 4pm Caroling on the Common/Tree Lighting.
Please consider donating a new blanket of any size to PJB on December 1st.

Thanks so much.

Best regards,

Lee A. Burns
Leader of Hopkinton Girl Scout Troop 72975
