"I'm really proud of the way our golf team performed today at the Hopkinton Country Club." said Coach Bliss as the Hillers defeated previously undefeated Dover/Sherborn by the score of 225 - 243. The Hillers take sole possession of first place in the Tri Valley League with their win today. The Varsity record is now 6 - 0. We had great individual performances by Jr. Matt Johnson who shot a 1 under 35 - Our Capt. Jimmy Hervol made a double bogey on the last hole and still shot 37. Our solid and steady #2 player- Geoff Holler - started very poorly, but he held it together and made 3 straight birdies and shot a 37 - Jake Doherty finished with a double bogey also, but shot a nice 38. Connor Czerepuszko had his best round @ HCC this year with a 38 and Drew Simi had 5 pars and 4 bogeys and shot 40 for our very nice team score of 225. Jacob Southern had a great round going, but finished poorly by going double bogey - double bogey and bogey on the last hole to finish at 42. Anthony DePaolo didn't play well today and he shot 47. Great win and great scoring for our Hiller golf team today. Dover Sherborn's #3 player tied Matt Johnson with a 35 and their # 1's and #2's both shot 39's.
