Golf Still On Top At 13-0

The Hiller Golf team continuing their winning ways with a 246 - 272 win over the Ashland Clockers at Hopkinton Country Club on Tuesday. The Hillers record is now 13 - 0 and the Clockers fell to 3 -10 on the season. Leading the way for the Hillers for his second match in a row was Matt Johnson who shot an even par 36. Capt. Jimmy Hervol & Jake Doherty both shot 39's. Jr. Aidan Curry continued his fine play with a score of 40. Jason Randall & Drew Simi shot 46's today and Nathan Tuite playing in his first varsity match shot 47 and Anthony DePaolo shot 48. Low score for the Clockers was Hunter Moran with a 42 followed by Matt O'Brien with a 44 and Adam Tomczak had 45 & Cam Phaneuf shot 46. The Hillers will take on Westwood on Wednesday at the Hopkinton Country Club at 3:00PM. The Sub Varsity will travel to Dover-Sherborn on Wednesday @ 2:15PM with 10 players

In other games on Tuesday, the Volleyball team beat the Clockers in Ashland 3-0 led by 26 assists from Renee Cooprider and 12 kills from Holly Adams. The Boys Soccer team lost 2-0 to Ashland and the Girls Soccer team beat Ashland 1-0 on a goal from Frosh Caitlyn Halloran.

On Monday, the Hiller Varsity Golf team traveled a short distance down to Pinecrest C.C. and defeated the Holliston Panthers by a score of 230 - 246. Pinecrest C.C. played very tricky today with very fast greens and long rough around their very small greens. Leading the way for the Hillers was Jr. Matt Johnson who shot the low round of the day - 35. Capt. Jimmy Hervol & Jake Doherty both shot 38's. Connor Czerepuszko filled in for injured Geoff Holler and shot 39. "We got great depth scoring from our 7th & 8th players today" said Coach Bliss, "as Anthony DePaolo & Aidan Curry came in with nice scores of 40 today." "Drew Simi & Jacob Southern struggled today as Drew had putting troubles and shot 43 and Jacob 44. Nathan Tuite, playing in the alternate spot, shot a nice 39."
