Pottery, jewelry, whimsical gifts, decorations, candles, and paper goods are just some of the items that will be available at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts Holiday Boutique on Friday, November 30 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 1 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; and on Sunday, December 2 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The Holiday Boutique is free and open to the public and will be held at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton.

The year’s Boutique will also feature demonstrations by nationally syndicated political cartoonist John Sherffius, who will create caricatures of famous people, politicians and cartoon characters on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. In addition, the Friends of the Hopkinton Library and the 300th Anniversary of Hopkinton will host tables featuring items for sale as well as information about their activities. Next Step Living will also have info about ways to save energy and will be available to sign up homeowners for a free home energy audit, which may include free programmable thermostats, faucet aerators, low-flow showerheads and light bulbs.

“The Holiday Boutique is a great place to have fun and buy gifts for those hard-to-buy-for people on your list, whether they are teachers, friends, or relatives” said Kris Waldman, artistic director at the HCA. “Some of the very talented artists offering their works of art include Craig Bachman, Cathy Dodd, Carrie Greene, Jeff Travers, Ann Newberry, Sue O’Keefe, Selina Paolucci, Sue Pelletier, and Marcella Stasa.”
