The HCA hosts First Friday Open Mic

at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton, MA.

Head to the Hopkinton Center for the Arts for the popular open mic night with host and singer-songwrirter Barbara Kessler. Singers, players, songwriters, poets, and storytellers of all ages and the general public are invited to attend. Sign-ups for performers will begin at 7 PM with music starting at 7:30PM.

Kessler is a former national touring singer-songwriter with five albums and numerous awards and song credits in both television and film. She co-wrote, performed and produced the end credit theme song “Dreaming My Way Home” for the Sony Playstation game Rogue Galaxy and her songs are featured on shows “The Voice,” “All My Children,” “NCIS,” “Jag” and “One Life to Live” among others. In addition to coaching artists of all ages, she also produces and record demos and EPs for other singer-songwriters and bands. Kessler’s latest album “What You Keep” was self-produced and features ten new songs.

All are welcome. Tickets: $5 at the door donation appreciated. Free to HCA members.
