As we celebrate our first decade in existence, we have renovated and expanded our facilities. Separating the studio control room has created additional studio space and allows for multiple uses at the same time. HCAM also began the transition from standard definition to high definition television.

One of our planned events is an Open House for the community to come all that’s new and learn more about our shows and who makes them. The Open House will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. You are invited to drop in and check us out!

Mike Preite, the President of the Board of Directors, said “Our goal for HCAM is always to provide local content on Hopkinton you can’t get anywhere else, and to do it with as much professionalism as possible. I have been pleased with the growth and variety of our programming. I’ve seen several other access stations, and HCAM does a great job at bringing our community to our viewers.”

There are many shows and series produced at HCAM, which creates approximately forty hours of original content each month. The programming is made by a mix of staff and volunteers who live in Hopkinton and enjoy making television programming and helping to keep their town informed.

Jim Cozzens, Station Manager, has a vision: “We want HCAM to be a resource for our community, a place where we connect our residents with information and entertainment they can use every day.”
