Heidi Kriger is no longer the Finance Director for the Town of Hopkinton effective Thursday, June 30, 2011.
On behalf of the Town, I wish to thank Heidi for her twelve years of service, first as Town Accountant and then as Finance Director. She has made a major contribution to Hopkinton and played a key role in the oversight and management of the Town’s financial affairs over many years. It has been a great pleasure working with her as a member of the Senior Management Team at Town Hall. I wish her success in all her future endeavors.
During the interim, the day-to-day functions of the Finance office will be handled by Janet McKay, Assistant Town Accountant.
The Town will begin advertising for the position contingent upon successfully petitioning the Board of Selectmen to lift the hiring freeze at the next Board of Selectmen’s meeting which will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2011.
