HHS Golf Team Fundraiser August 15

Just a reminder that the Hopkinton High Golf Team Annual Fundraiser will be played next Monday, August 15th at the Shining Rock C.C. Registration will be at 11:15AM- 11:45AM. Then the Shining Rock Pro Shop Staff/myself will address the field and we will send you out to your hole to start the golf tournament at NOON. Please be on time.

We have 148 participants in this years tournament. Hopefully we will have a beautiful day for the golf tournament and dinner. If we should have to postpone the tournament because of weather it would be played on the next Monday, Aug. 22nd. A great barbecue buffet dinner will follow immediately after you finish golf around 6:00PM. Tournament prizes and raffle prizes will be awarded after the dinner. We will be selling raffle tickets the entire day. There are many great raffle prizes from Red Sox & Celtic Tickets- Foursomes to 5 different golf courses- Gift certificates to many great restaurants in the area and many businesses have sponsored raffle prizes.

The purpose of this golf tournament is to help raise funds for our golf team. We used last years funds to purchase 25 TVL Tournament Championship Jackets for every member of our golf team. We purchased 30 Green and 30 Orange Golf Shirts for our away matches. We paid for our seniors meals and other end of the year awards at our Awards Banquet. We paid for our players when we went ot the State Tournaments for entry fees and meals. We paid for greens fees/driving range fees at other golf courses so we could practice and play when HCC was not available to our golf team.

So "Thank You" to our golf committee this year for their hard work these past two months and all the participants/ hole sponsors/ and raffle prizes donations to our tournament. Your support is greatly appreciated by the Hopkinton High Golf Team and myself.
