The Hiller Hockey team continues to ride the wave of success into uncharted waters, winning their 13th straight, as they move on in the state tournament. Hopkinton has outscored their opponents 8-1 in the first two games. The #3 seed in the Division 3 South bracket, opened the first round with a convincing 4-0 win over Bourne at the Gallo area in Bourne. The goals were scored by, Cam Finlayson (100th career point), Jack Sloan, and Will Abbott added 2. Assists were credited to JH Vokey, Owen Delaney, Will Pickens, Steve Simoes, Everett Rolph and Finlayson with 2. Tim McGrath stopped all 15 shots he saw, and several were beauties, for his 6th shutout on the year.

Hopkinton took on a strong Cohasset team in the quarter-final round and again played a near flawless game, coming out on top 4-1. Goals were scored by Simoes, Karpenski, O. Delaney, and Jack Sloan. Spencer Coveney, Finlayson (2), Vokey, D. Delaney and Matt Lindquist, had the helpers. Dylan O’leary had an outstanding 24 save effort in the victory.

The completion gets harder as Hopkinton takes on a very strong Norwell team in the Semi-finals this Thursday, 8PM at Gallo arena in Bourne.
