BASEBALL: Hiller Varsity Baseball won their season opener at Dover-Sherborn on Thursday, 6-2. Senior Tim Moberg got the win on the mound, throwing 5 shutout innings, and also added a solo home run. Senior RF Mike Decina was 4-4 with 2 runs and 2 RBI, and Senior CF Alex Hulme and Junior SS Ryan Sullivan added two hits apiece. Senior Connor Farrell pitched well in relief, and Senior C Craig Levergood threw out two would-be base stealers.
Hiller Junior Varsity Baseball beat Dover-Sherborn 11-3
Adam Weiner had 5 Innings Pitched, 2 H, 2 ER, 6 K's. Offensively he went 3 for 4 with 4 RBI's
Chris Moberg had 2 Innings Pitched, 1 R, Offensively he went 2 for 3 with 3B 2 RBI's
Ben Pallieko went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI's
TENNIS: Hiller Girls Tennis beat Dover Sherborn yesterday 5 - 0.
"It was our first league match and a good win for us!" said Coach Clark. Hillers are travelling to Medfield on Monday. For the past few years Medfield has won the Tri Valley League and the Hillers have come in second.
Clark says "... it will be a big match for us!"
