The Varsity team took on Fitchburg in the first game of the MARK BUSHNOE TOURNAMENT at the Wallace Civic center in Fitchburg. Hopkinton went on the penalty kill early but was able to generate some offense with Jordan Carroll scoring shorthanded from Cam Finlayson and Danny Johnson. Finlayson made it 2-0 with a great move on a penalty shot. Hopkinton scored the final two goals on the powerplay with Finlayson and Carroll finishing on two goal nights. Finlayson had two assists on the night and Alex Terry, Matt Decina and Brendan O’leary also had the Helpers. Danny Collins was again great in the nets giving up only one goal while the Hillers were shorthanded.

The Hillers will play in the Championship Game tomorrow night at 7PM against the winner of Lunenburg/Ayer vs. Oakmont/Narragansett.
