Hillers climb the mountain

The High School hockey team is breathing a little rarefied air this morning, after winning their 10th game of the season and making the State tournament for the first time in seven years The Hillers played host to Bellingham and put on an offensive show with four players scoring four or more points. Cam Finlayson led all scorers with 2 goals and 4 assists. Jordan Carroll had 2 goals, 2 assist, Alex Terry had 2 goals, 2 assist and Matt Decina had a goal and 3 assists. Mike Messier and Brendan O’leary had the other goals, while Brendan Anderson adding an assist.

The special teams were on fire as the Hillers scored 3 power play goals and 2 shorthanded goals. Next up is rivalry night, as Hopkinton takes on Holliston Saturday night in Franklin at 8:30 PM. The Panthers need a least a tie to keep their playoff hopes alive.
