Alex Hulme's walkoff RBI single scored Andrew McMillan with the winning run in the bottom of the 8th inning to give the Varsity Baseball team (7-3 overall, TVL) a 5-4 victory over Dover-Sherborn on Thursday, May 4. Trailing 4-3 in the top of the 7th, reliever Connor Farrell worked out of a bases loaded, no outs jam, keeping the Hillers' deficit at just one run entering the bottom of the 7th. In the 7th, Mike Decina drew a leadoff walk. After D/S retired the next two batters, Tim Moberg followed with a single to send Decina to 3rd, and Farrell plated him with the tying run to send the game to extras. After Farrell retired the side in the top of the 8th, McMillan stroked a one-out double, and was followed by Hulme's game winning single.

Ryan Sullivan led the offense, hitting two home runs and knocking in three. McMillan had three hits and Moberg added two for the Hillers. Jake Haroian pitched six strong innings, limiting D/S to four runs, and Farrell (2-0) earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief.
