Hillers Freshman Volleyball Update

On Monday (9/12), The girls freshman volleyball team lost to East Coast powerhouse Barnstable (2-1) in the mandatory third set. Solid serving by Ally Graeber and Kayla Cumpelik helped the team clench the second set, but they unfortunately fell short for third set 15-7.

On Tuesday (9/13), The girls freshman volleyball team came out victorious against rival Holliston 2-1. After dropping the first set 23-25, The Hillers were able to compose themselves for sets 2 & 3 winning both sets 25-20 and 15-7 respectively. Several kills by Jordan Ostrowski and Ashley McDermott helped give he Hillers the edge in the final two sets.

The freshman volleyball team defeated Bellingham last Friday 2-1. Solid passing by Jade Bolger and strong front row attacking by Mackenzie Ostrowski assisted in the HIllers win. A run of good serves by Devon Araya was the difference in the second set.
