Hillers Sports Update 1-24-2017

-On Friday January 20th, Hillers Girls and Boys Basketball got home wins in a doubleheader against Ashland. Junior Ivy Gogolin had a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds, Mikayla Pucci contributed with 11 points as the Hillers Girls improved to 9 and 2 overall. Ashland fell to 3-9.

The Hillers Boys improved to 4 and 7 on the season with a 66-49 victory over Ashland. Kyle Rector (SR) led the team with 15 points and dominated the baseline pulling down 11 rebounds, Austin Odell (SR) added 14 points for the Hillers. Ashland fell to 2-9 overall.

-On Saturday January 21st. Hillers Boys hockey took a 3-0 victory over Dover-Sherborn. Zack Rodgers (SR) was fantastic in net for the Hillers who captured their 2nd straight victory and improved to 9 wins, 0 losses and 1 tie. Will Abbott (JR) scored the first goal of the game with 1:09 left to go in the 2nd period. The Hillers added 2 more in the 3rd period, D.J. Sloan (JR) with 7:08 left and Own Delaney (JR) with 1:23 left.

Also on Saturday January 21st, Algonquin Wrestling defeated Hopkinton 55-18.
