Hillers Sports Update 11-7-2016

-Hopkinton Hillers Field Hockey had an impressive playoff run forcing 2 games into overtime and shutting out Norwood in the 1st round. TVL champion Hopkinton entered the Post Season as the 12th seed in the South Division 1 bracket and defeated 21st seeded Norwood 3-0 in the 1st round. Hopkinton followed up with an upset on the road against #5th seeded Silver Lake. The Hillers defeated Silver Lake 2-1 in double over time! In the regional quarterfinals, the Hillers gave #4th seeded Sandwich all the could handle on the Sandwich home field but fell in overtime 1-0. Congratulations to the Hopkinton Hillers and Head Coach, Joan Bannon on a terrific run. The Hillers finish a tremendous 2016 season with a record of 13 wins, 4 losses, 4 ties.

-Hopkinton Hillers Football defeated Framingham on the road 34-22 in a Non-Playoff game Friday Night. Hillers football improved to 4-5 overall.

-1st Seeded Hillers Girls Volleyball will take on 8th seeded Medway 7pm on Hopkinton High School Monday Night (11/7) in the sectional quarterfinals.

**Update** Hillers Volleyball Sweeps Medway 3-0 and will advance to the Sectional Semi-Finals to host Westborough, Wednesday Night at 7pm.

The winner of Hillers-Westboro advances to sectional championship game Saturday 4pm at Wellesley High School.
