Hillers Top Raiders 4-1

The Hiller Girls Tennis Team hosted a battle of a match against the Raiders from Dover- Sherborn, beating them 4-1

Freshman Zoe Komodromos had a comeback win at 2nd Singles 2-6, 7-5, 10-4. After losing the first set, and fending off 3 match points at 4-5 in the second, Zoe took the set 7-5 and sustained the momentum in the deciding 10 point super tiebreaker to clinch the victory.

At #3 Singles, Freshman Elisabeth Cooperman was also impressive blanking her opponent 6-0, 6-0. Other winners were Senior Olivia Anderson at #1 Singles 6-3, 6-4; and the #1 Doubles team of Senior Sydney Emerson and Sophomore Laney Emerson 6-3, 6-3.

"Today we continued to roll on beating a talented D-S squad 4-1," said Coach Nancy Clark. " I love this Lady Hiller Team," she continued, "they are so scrappy and know the match is not over until the final point!"

The Ladies strengthen the standing in the Tri Valley League with a 4-0 record, 6-0 overall.

The Hillers hit the road the rest of the week with a match in Holliston on Thursday and Medfield on Friday.
