Hillers Win Season Opener

New season, new uniforms and new expectations. The Hiller hockey team coming off their first playoff appearance in 6 years last March, look to build on that success with a wealth of new talent to complement the returning starters. Led by veteran Seniors, Jordan Carroll, Mike Messier, Brendan O'Leary and Brandon Carty, the Hillers have a well balanced team across the grades. Juniors include Nikolai Saporoschetz,Dan Delaney,Will Karpenski,Mark McCluskey,Alex Kosheff,Billy Allen and Cam Finlayson. The Sophomore class consists of Spencer Coveney, Will Pickens, Everett Rolph, Jake LeBlanc and goalies Jake Neary and starting goaltender Tim McGrath. The Freshman class is well represented also. Connor and Owen Delaney, Henry Kosheff, Will Abbott and goalie Dylan O'Leary.

Hopkinton 6 Bellingham 0

Hopkinton showed off their offensive prowess in the season opener last night at Navin Arena. Nikolai Saporoschetz had 2 goals and an assist, while Jordan Carroll added a goal and 2 assists as did Will Abbott and Cam Finlayson. Owen Delaney along with Abbott, scored his first Varsity goal. Tim McGrath was solid between the pipes stopping all 12 shots he faced. Next up for the Hillers is rival Holliston on Wednesday Night at 7:30PM at Navin.
