Ashland Legion Post 77 Baseball has won 4 games and lost 2 games this season but their record now stands at 6 and 2 with 2 automatic wins because Billerica has forfeited their season. View the Ashland legion schedule and video highlights below.

Video: Hopkins School Egg Drop Competition

Hopkins Elementary School hosted the annual Egg Drop competition. Over the past couple weeks, Students put their science & engineering skills to the test working in teams of 4 to construct a contraption that would keep an egg from breaking if it were to be dropped off a building. Rather than the school roof, this year the Hopkinton Fire Department helped out with their ladder truck.

Hopkinton Town Hall Offices to be Temporarily Moved to 80 South Street

The Town of Hopkinton has an update regarding the location of town offices during the repair and
renovations to Hopkinton Town Hall due to a flood caused by a burst pipe on April 11th:

"On April 11th, the Hopkinton Town Hall suffered extensive damage when a water line ruptured
on the third floor that resulted in devastating damage to areas of all the building’s four
floors. However, town services were up and running within 16 hours in four separate temporary

Senator Spilka Honored as MA Down Syndrome Congress Legislative Advocate of the Year

BOSTON, MA— The Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC) honored Senator Karen E. Spilka (D-Ashland) as the 2017 Legislative Advocate of the Year, in recognition of her tireless support for the Massachusetts Down syndrome community.

The award is an original painting created by self-advocate Michael Avakian of Bedford and was presented to Senator Spilka in her State House office on Wednesday.

Hopkinton Town Hall Renovation Update

Due to flooding at Hopkinton Town Hall caused by a broken water pipe on Tuesday April 11th, Town Hall remains temporarily closed down and town offices remain at temporary remote locations.

Bring a picnic and blanket or chair and enjoy the music of JP & Friends. This is the same rocking band that performed at this years gala. We are told the ice cream truck may also stop by! This is a great fun, family event sponsored every year by the Barbara Corbett Dobson and Dave Dobson Memorial Fund.

In case of rain concert will move indoors.

Video: First Annual Hopkinton Multicultural Festival

The Hopkinton Youth Commission in partnership with the Hopkinton Culture and Diversity alliance hosted the 1st annual Hopkinton Multicultural Festival. The festival brought together a few of the many different cultures that make up the Hopkinton community. Attendees got to view native dances, artwork, history and try food from several different countries. View the festivities below!

Video: Boy Scout Troop 1 Hosts Annual Pasta Dinner Fundraiser

Hopkinton Boys Scout Troop 1 hosted their annual pasta dinner fundraiser at the faith community church, the event was a success and a good time was had by all. The event also featured a wide array on raffle items and the proceeds go towards scouting activities. View more in the HCAM news segment below.

Video: Boston Marathon Bombing Survivor Roseann Sdoia speaks at Hopkinton Historical Society

The Hopkinton Historical Society and Hopkinton Public Library hosted a presnetation by Boston Marathon Bombing survivor Roseann Sdoia.

Roseann talked about the struggles of overcoming losing one of her legs from the bombing and talked about her life previously and currently. She also read passsages from her book "Perfect Strangers: Friendship, Strength and recovery after Boston's Worst Day".
