Hopkinton artisans open their homes April 30

Whitehall Artisans invite the public to tour their home studios, all located in Hopkinton around picturesque Lake Whitehall, on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors to their individual studios will be able to view the artists’ works, see how they are made, ask questions and purchase original pieces. The artists opening their homes include Kate Graham Heyd, a painter at 6 Longwood Drive; Lorelei Lotvin, a glass jeweler at 7 Sylvan Way; Michael Alfano, a sculptor at 11 School Street; Carol Mecagni a potter at 157 Pond Street; William Moser, a sculptor at 4 Wescott Drive; and Mike Smith, a wood turner at 15 Hill Street. Sculptor Michael Alfano will open his workshop at his 11 School Street home during the Whitehall Artisans Open Studio Tour on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lorelei Lotvin will demonstrate how she makes her fanciful beads and jewelry at her home at 7 Sylvan Way, Hopkinton, during the Whitehall Artisans Open Studio Tour on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Carol Mecagni will demonstrate her pottery technique at her home at 157 Pond Street, Hopkinton during the Whitehall Artisans Open Studio Tour on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Painter Kate Graham Heyd will invite the public into her studio at her home at 6 Longwood Drive, Hopkinton, during the Whitehall Artisans Open Studio Tour on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mike Smith will demonstrate his wood turning techniques at his home at 15 Hill Street, Hopkinton, during the Whitehall Artisans Open Studio Tour on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
