Please join us on Wednesday morning June 22nd, at 10:00, at the front parking lot of 77 West Main Street for a celebration of Hopkinton’s wonderful new Gateway Green. The trees are all in now, and shrubs and finishing touches will be in place over the next two weeks.

The generous help and support of many generous friends has been instrumental in enabling this project to be realized, and we want very much the fun and excitement of the day with all Chamber members. There will be coffee and refreshments along with a few comments by various dignitaries. It should be fun…especially if you are there.

The region clustered around I-495, I-90 and I-290 are abounding with a brilliant mix of companies that support making physical products. From contract manufacturing, to product designers, to fabricators, to PCB layout and plastics/materials experts, we have them all. Combine this with some of the best institutes of higher education, affordable real estate, easy parking, and roads that are certainly more accessible than Boston, and we have a compelling ecosystem.

We’d like you to join us in our first (hopefully annual and growing) showcase of those that help us make our products.

Are you a company in need of design, development or manufacturing assistance? Starting a product company? $30 general admission to talk to helpful people! On display are Tri-Star Design, Cogmedix, PanelRight, EMT and others.

Mirick O’Connell - Attorneys at Law
Mirick O’Connell is celebrating its 100th anniversary as a law firm. On Thursday, June 2, 2016, the firm hosted an open house reception on the courtyard of Mercantile Center in Worcester. Over 200 business leaders attended the event, many of whom are longstanding clients of the firm. Managing Partner David E. Surprenant opened the evening by thanking the firm’s clients, referral sources, attorneys and professional staff for their trust and loyalty throughout the years. Worcester City Mayor Joseph Petty presented Mirick O’Connell with a Key to the City, and thanked the firm for its commitment to the community. Franklin Realty owner Chip Norton also recognized the firm as a staple in the community and one of the first tenants in the 100 Front Street building.

The following day, Mirick O’Connell closed its three offices early to continue the celebration with an employee BBQ outing.
