Hopkinton Democratic Caucus, Call to Convention – June 17th

Hopkinton, MA – June 17th: The Hopkinton Democratic Town Committee (HDTC) is holding its nominating caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democrat State Convention.

Check-in and registration will begin at 5:30 PM & caucus at 6pm at 118 Hayward Street in Hopkinton in person and also with a virtually component, pre-registration is advised if attending virtually. The link to register and attend virtually is available on the HDTC’s website: Hopkintondemocrats.org

Registered Hopkinton Democrats or Unenrolled Voters who switch to Democrat that night may vote. Unenrolled voters must have been registered as Unenrolled for at least one week prior to the caucus. Republicans and 3rd Party voters may not participate in the caucus.

On September 25, 2021, Democrats from across the state will come together at the Tsongas Center for the 2021 Convention, where they’ll adopt a Party platform, discuss Party business and celebrate our successes as we prepare for upcoming elections. The event will take place in-line with all federal, state and local health guidelines and will include a virtual option for participation.

Following the Caucus, the HDTC will host their June monthly meeting.
The Hopkinton Democratic Town Committee mission is to foster and sustain an active, informed electorate; encourage citizen participation in government as elected and appointed officials; strengthen the local Democratic Party, both in numbers and in sense of purpose; and work in conjunction with the State and National Democratic Party to secure freedom and justice for people everywhere. HDTC meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month and meetings are open to all.
