In a press release dated today, Fire Chief Ken Clark wants residents to know that it has come to his attention that a company or companies are conducting telephone requests for funding to assist the Hopkinton Fire Department.
"At this time, the Hopkinton Fire Department and Hopkinton Permanent Firefighters Local 3772 ARE NOT conducting any fund raising efforts with outside entities," said Clark. "I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for the residents of our community."
