Hopkinton Garden Club Speaker Series Events in February and March

The Hopkinton Garden Club presents Mike and Angie Chute’s talk on “Six Simple Steps to Successful Rose Gardening". It’s easy to grow beautiful roses in your home garden once you know how. This presentation will appeal to every gardener who wants to grow roses. It explains everything you need to know in six easy-to-follow steps including plenty of tips and personal anecdotes from over twenty years of rose gardening experience.

Please join us on Tuesday, February 18th at The Hopkinton Public Library – Large Event Room, 13 Main St, Hopkinton. Our general meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. The speaker portion is at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. New members are welcome any time during our club year.

Mike and Angie Chute have been growing roses for over 25 years in their E. Providence, RI garden. They have presented gardening programs, lectures and seminars at numerous Flower Shows, the University of RI Master Gardener programs, NBC10’s Plant Pro, and other gardening organizations throughout the Northeast. The Chutes have authored “Roses for New England: A Guide to Sustainable Rose Gardening”, “Rose Gardening Season by Season”, and “A Journal for Passionate Gardeners. “ They are founding members/ past presidents of the RI Rose Society. They also started RoseSolutions, a landscape consulting company offering educational programs, workshops, seminars and consulting services on rose horticulture.
