Speaker Series Presents:
“Vegetable Gardening for Everyone”
With Susan Hammond
Wednesday, March 15, 2017 7:30 p.m.

Vegetable gardening is something everyone can enjoy, from the novice to the experienced gardener. It can be a way to bring fresh food to your table, teach children where food comes from or even a way to beautify your yard! We’ll look at different types of vegetable gardens and discuss layout, variety choices and growing techniques.

Susan Hammond is a lifetime Master Gardener with the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association, with a wealth of gardening experience. Gardening since childhood, she has a special focus on edible plants. She is responsible for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s 6,000 square foot Garden to Table Vegetable Garden, where she enjoys teaching visitors and volunteers about vegetable gardening.

This program will be held at Faith Community Church, Room 218, 146 E. Main Street in Hopkinton. Our club’s general meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. The speaker portion starts at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. New members are welcome any time during our club year.
