Hopkinton Hillers Sports Update 10-27-2018

-On Friday (10/26) the 3rd seeded Hopkinton Hillers football team defeated 6th seeded Nauset at home 28-0. Hopkinton advances to the sectional semi-finals and will next play on Friday November 2nd versus 2nd seeded Milton. Hopkinton is 5 and 3 on the season, Milton defeated Westwood last night in the 1st round 20-16 and is 6 and 2 overall.

-Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball claimed the TVL Large title by defeating Holliston 3-0 last night and improved to 17 and 1 overall. Next up for the Hillers is playoff volleyball!

-The HMS girls' soccer team won their last two games against Wellesley and Nipmuc. In yesterday's game, goals were scored by Keira O'Connor, Ellie Driscoll, Shelby Jones and an incredible header goal by Emma Champlin. Outstanding midfield was played by Cait Sansonetti. The girls play their last game today at Millis.

-The HMS boys’ soccer team played very well yesterday continuing their winning streak to 11 games. Danny McCabe earned a 3-0 shutout in goal with Declan Mick, Sean Golembiewski, Nate Lee, Harry Petrie, Luke Boothyard and Chris Holly played solid defense shutting down a talented Mendon-Upton team. The boys look to complete a historic boys soccer season in the 22 years HMS has played soccer.
