At approximately 8:00 a.m. this morning, Hopkinton Middle School was placed into lock-down mode. Within minutes, staff, assisted by the Hopkinton Police Department, secured the building.

The concern was quickly identified as non-threatening. We were able to resume the normal school day by 8:30 a.m.

Just as a reminder, all exterior doors are locked daily at 7:30 a.m. If parents or guardians need to access the school, please use the main entrance by the tennis courts/flag pole, and the front office staff will provide access to the Middle School building.

Thank you,
